Guided wave radar

GWR

Definition

A level measurement that sends a radar signal down a probe rather than through open space, concentrating the energy along the probe.

Handles low-reflectivity liquids, turbulence, foam, and narrow spaces that defeat non-contact radar. The trade-off is a probe in the liquid, which collects rag and grease in municipal wastewater.
