Definition

A resistor at each physical end of a bus that matches the cable impedance and absorbs the signal, preventing reflections.

With the bus powered down, measuring roughly 60 ohms across the pair indicates two 120 ohm terminators, which is correct. Around 120 means only one, and an open reading means none.
